Job Description

The Manager of Financial Operations oversees financial planning, analysis, and control of project-related activities across the organization. This role ensures effective financial governance, promotes accuracy in forecasting, supports strategic decision-making, and drives financial performance for both client and internally facing projects.

Responsibilities

Lead project financial operations across a portfolio of programs, ensuring accuracy in budgeting, forecasting, revenue recognition, and cost management.Act as a financial business partner to project and program managers, offering insights to optimize performance and mitigate financial risks.Prepare and present executive-level financial reports and dashboards, including KPIs, variance analyses, and forecasting updates.Ensure compliance with accounting standards (e.g., GAAP, IFRS), company policies, and contract terms.Monitor project profitability, billing schedules, and cash flow forecasting.Support internal and external audit processes with proper documentation and data integrity.Assign workloads, monitor deadlines, and support the team in balancing multiple concurrent projects and programs.Support hiring, onboarding, and training of new team members.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $103000.00 - $147000.00/yr.

4.5 weeks of PTO
10 paid holidays (8 standard, 2 floating)
401k match up to 6%
Profit-sharing and incentive program

This is a hybrid position in Raleigh,NC.
