Compensation varies based on factors including, but not limited to, experience, skills, education, performance, location and salary range at the time of the offer._ **Responsibilities** The Manager of Digital Asset Management (DAM) will manage implementation with product, oversee governance, and be responsible for day-to-day operations of Ascension’s DAM platform. This role ensures that delivered digital assets (images, video, graphics, documents, and multimedia) are structured, tagged, and distributed in alignment with brand standards, marketing priorities, and compliance requirements. This role will also standardize how content flows from creators and marketers through the content lifecycle involved for publishing on Web. As the DAM Manager, you will collaborate across Marketing, Creative, Product, Digital Content Operations, and engineering to design workflows, optimize asset lifecycle management, and enable scalable content reuse. You will also oversee metadata strategy, taxonomy, adopt rights management, and governance frameworks to ensure our assets are accurate, accessible, and impactful. **Key Responsibilities:** + Own the enterprise DAM strategy, roadmap, and adoption plan. + Define governance frameworks, metadata standards, taxonomies, and tagging conventions. + Partner with Creative and Legal/Compliance teams to manage asset rights, licensing, and expiration rules. + Establish KPIs to measure DAM adoption, asset usage, and ROI. + Oversee ingestion, tagging, cataloging, and distribution of digital assets across teams and channels. + Create and enforce processes for asset requests, reviews, approvals, and archiving. + Manage integrations with CMS, marketing automation, social, and creative tools (e.g., Figma, Sitecore, Smartling). + Monitor data quality and resolve metadata or workflow issues. + Partner with Creative and Marketing teams to ensure assets meet brand standards. + Train and support content creators, publishers, and end users on DAM best practices. + Act as liaison with Product, Engineering, and IT for system enhancements and integrations. + Lead vendor management and act as primary contact for DAM technology partners (including oversight of external partners and consultants). + Drive adoption and change management across multiple stakeholder groups. + Champion a culture of content excellence, efficiency, and collaboration. **Requirements** Education: + High School diploma equivalency with 3 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Bachelor's degree with 2 years of cumulative experience OR 7 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required. + 3 years of leadership or management experience preferred. **Additional Preferences** + Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Digital Media, Information Science, or related field. + 5–7 years of experience in digital asset management, content operations, or marketing technology. + Strong knowledge of DAM platforms (e.g., Sitecore Content Hub, Adobe Experience Manager, Bynder, Acquia DAM/Widen, etc.). + Expertise in metadata design, taxonomy, and content governance. + Experience with integrations across SiteCore CMS, CRM, marketing automation, and creative tools. + Familiarity with rights management, licensing, and compliance requirements. + Excellent organizational, communication, and change management skills. + Leadership experience managing cross-functional teams or direct reports. + Proficiency with project management tools (e.g., Smartsheet, Jira, Asana, MS Project) + Experience with digital, IT, or healthcare-related projects is a plus + Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, or SAFe methodologies + Ability to influence stakeholders and drive decisions + Experience managing vendor relationships and contracts + Comfort working in matrixed or enterprise environments **Why Join Our Team** Ascension associates are key to our commitment of transforming healthcare and providing care to all, especially those most in need.
