Summary:
This position is responsible for the engagement and compliance with the safety and security programs across corporate offices, hotels, and other establishments while consistently delivering the highest level of customer service. The Manager of Corporate Security develops, establishes, and enforces corporate policies, standards, procedures, and initiatives to protect team members, physical assets, and guests in accordance with company objectives and industry standards.
Job Duties:
Provides 24/7 phone support and expert guidance on hotel security and risk management issues.
Develops, implements, and oversees comprehensive safety and security protocols for all hotels and corporate offices.
Ensures all team members have access to safety and security-related information and tools.
Collaborates with key stakeholders to ensure safety and security procedures are effectively communicated and implemented.
Continuously stays informed about emerging threats and industry trends to improve our safety and security measures.
Prepares, reviews, maintains, and updates safety & security procedures and guidelines.
Assists with investigations on any security-related matter or crimes against the company.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree. (Certified Protection Professional (CPP) or willingness to obtain
Experience in hotel safety and security management or a similar role is preferred
Previous police department, public safety, fire department, or military experience preferred
Must be able to read and speak (or otherwise communicate) the English language sufficiently to converse with co-workers, the general public, officials, and other team members associated with the hotel and corporate office
Excellent leadership skills with the ability to train and motivate team members
Excellent organization and planning skills
Able to handle high-pressure situations calmly and effectively
Agile with multi-tasking, with a willingness to learn
Interest in investigating matters
Available for 24-hour rotating on-call support either via phone or in-person, and may include nights, weekends, and/or holidays
Ability to travel up to 50% as needed
