Proven Leadership: Has successfully led and managed collaboration teams within mid to large size companies.Technical Expertise: Possesses hands-on administrator experience with a major enterprise collaboration platform, preferably Google Workspace.People Management: Demonstrated ability to manage people, coach, and professionally develop a team of engineers/specialists.Vendor Accountability: Has been directly responsible for overseeing the performance and outcomes of a Managed Service Provider (MSP).Strategic Delivery: Able to define a long-term strategy and roadmap, and successfully deliver against those objectives.Job OverviewThe ideal candidate will have directly led, managed, and run a collaboration team. They need hands-on administrator experience and a technical understanding of collaboration platforms. The role also requires experience building and running multi-platform conference rooms and meeting solutions, and having direct responsibility for managed service provider relationships.
Key ResponsibilitiesStrategic Leadership & Planning: Develop and execute the strategic roadmap for the entire collaboration technology stack, aligning it with business goals. This includes leading, mentoring, and developing the internal team of collaboration specialists.Platform & Infrastructure Management: Oversee the administration, security, and maintenance of all collaboration platforms, including Google Workspace, Zoom, and Microsoft Exchange. This also covers the deployment and management of multi-platform conference rooms (A/V, video conferencing hardware).Vendor & Service Accountability: Act as the primary point of contact and accountability for the Managed Service Provider (MSP), defining and monitoring KPIs and SLAs to ensure high-quality service delivery.Security & Governance: Partner with the security team to enforce policies, manage email security, and oversee data governance across all communication and collaboration tools.User Experience (UX) & Training: Develop governance policies, establish the \"right tool for the job\" framework, and ensure a positive user experience through training programs and documentation.Qualifications5+ years of experience in managing collaboration technologies in an enterprise environment.Proven experience in vendor management, including managing service delivery.Strong knowledge of enterprise collaboration administration (e.g., Microsoft 365, Google Workspace).Strong knowledge of Zoom administration, including Zoom Rooms and API integrations.Experience with Microsoft Exchange Server administration and hybrid environments.Solid understanding of conference room technologies, A/V systems, video conferencing hardware (Logitech, Chromeboxes), and audio processing platforms (Q-Sys).Relevant certifications (e.g., Google Workspace Administrator, Microsoft 365 certifications) are a plus.Education:
High School diploma equivalency with 3 years of cumulative experience OR Associate'sdegree/Bachelor's degree with 2 years of cumulative experience OR 7 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.3 years of leadership or management experience preferred.Additional Preferences
