QUALIFICATIONS

Education 
•    Current license in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO)
•    Maintain Continuing Education Requirements (CEUs) as mandated by the CNO
•    Canadian Certification in Occupational Health (COHN-C) preferred
•    Joint-Health & Safety Committee (JHSC) certification preferred
Experience
•    5 years of experience in health care, preferably home health care & hospital
•    5 years of experience with progressive responsibilities in a supervisory or leadership role
•    Experience serving on a JHSC committee as co-chair
Skills & Abilities
•    Strong initiative, organization, and oral / written communication
•    Technologically proficient 
•    Ability to work flexible hours, including occasional evenings and weekends
•    Ability to travel between locations; maintain a valid driver’s license, vehicle, and insurance
•    Embody Bayshore values\: compassion, excellence, reliability 
•    Skilled and comfortable with managing challenging behaviors (e.g., aggression, elopement, inappropriate conduct)
•    Skilled in supporting neurodiverse individuals and those with acquired brain injuries, mental health conditions, dual diagnoses, and complex behavioural needs
•    Strong understanding of health and safety legislation to ensure compliance and promote a safe working environment
