Manager of Benefits Operations

Salary $90,000- $95,000 depending on experience

Hybrid-Remote Position open to candidates residing in PA, DE, and NJ 

Up to 25% travel to our headquarters in Lafayette Hill, PA expected.

 

Position Details:

The Manager of Benefits Operations will work closely with the Director of Benefits Administration in managing and enhancing employee benefits programs. This role will ensure the effective administration, compliance and communication of benefits offerings, as well as strategic planning, and operational execution. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of benefits administration including leave administration, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to handle multiple projects in a dynamic environment. The Manager of Benefits Operations will:

Work with the Director for oversight of day-to-day benefits operations, including (but not limited to) health, dental, vision, retirement, life insurance, and other employee benefits including leave of absence administration. Manage open enrollment processes, employee communications, and benefit changes. Ensure timely updates and compliance with changes in policies and regulations. Prepare and distribute benefits materials and communications for employees regarding plan options, enrollment processes, and key dates working with key stakeholders as needed. Educate and support all levels of the organization regarding questions or concerns about benefits offerings. Oversee compliance with federal, state, and local regulations related to employee benefits (e.g., ACA, HIPAA, ERISA, FMLA and State/Local Leave of Absence/Sick Leave laws). Collaborate with legal and compliance teams to keep up-to-date on changing laws or regulations affecting employee benefits. Work with affected departments (i.e. People Operations, HRIS, operations) to implement any updates to laws and regulations. Manage relationships with third-party HR/Benefit systems, vendors, brokers, and insurance providers. Monitor the performance of benefit plans and resolve issues with third party HR/Benefit systems, and vendors when necessary. Analyze benefits program performance, trends, and costs as needed. Participate in evaluating new benefits offerings and improvements to current plans to enhance the employee experience. Develop and assist in the execution of strategies to improve employee satisfaction and engagement with benefit programs.  Provide benefits support and expertise for projects, initiatives, and programs including acquisitions and new business ventures. Evalute benefit offerings for any acquisitions or enterprise-wide business updates.  Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including People Operations, HRIS, finance, and payroll, to ensure smooth coordination of benefit programs.
