Manager Mission Integration and Spiritual Care

Job Summary and Responsibilities

This role provides operational leadership, functional expertise, and consultation to integrate the CommonSpirit Health (CSH) Mission into the plans, policies, and processes that affect the organization's operations, goals, and strategic transformation.  The Manager will work collaboratively with the Market Mission Director and other market and facility leaders to implement mission integration efforts for all care sites within the community.  They will also collaborate with other members of the Central Region Mission Integration Council on shared market and regional priorities, including the development and implementation of strategies and plans to advance the Central Region's operational integration of Mission Integration's four functional areas: Ministry Formation, Ethics, Community Health & Outreach, and Spiritual Care.

Strategic Alignment: Collaborate with key administrative and medical staff to ensure integration of the CSH mission, vision, and values into organizational culture, decision-making, operations, and practice.Annual Mission Planning: Work with facility and physician enterprise executives and leaders as part of the Mission Integration Council to establish annual mission strategies aligned with local strategic plans and overall market priorities.Community Partnerships: Build and maintain strong relationships with community organizations and leaders to foster collaboration and support community health initiatives.Accountability Prepare regular accountability reports for leadership within their geography of influence. Collaborate in the development and presentation of accountability reports to senior leadership and governance regarding key areas of mission integration: organizational identity, spiritual care, ethics, formation, and community health.Spiritual Care Services:Provide spiritual care services to patients and staff and, as relevant, leadership and direction to the local spiritual care team, fostering an environment of continuous learning, growth, and accountability.
Job Requirements
Education: Master's degree, preferably in Mission Integration, Theology, Pastoral Studies. Clinical Pastoral Education: Preferred completion of a minimum of one unit of ACPE Clinical Pastoral Education or Theological Field Education program.Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of health care and/or pastoral care experience that would demonstrate attainment of the requisite job knowledge/abilities.Where You'll Work
