Truly, the possibilities are beautiful. THE IMPACT YOU CAN HAVE The Manager, Media Strategy will work closely with the Senior Manager, Media Strategy plus our media agency partners. This person is primarily responsible for leading full funnel channel programs from strategy, planning, and activation across key areas of business. This role is equal parts advisor and doer – responsible for leading and developing the strategy, execution and measurement of holistic media campaigns. You will partner with several strategy and execution-oriented marketing and media teams, including Brand Marketing, Social Media, Performance Marketing, and Customer Relationship Marketing to build full channel media plans, and communicate clearly to agency partners on media support. Skillsets required includes cross functional collaboration, clear and effective communication, working on multiple programs at one time, and hitting key deadlines. It is critical that this position is an ambassador for Ulta Beauty and represents the company in the most positive and professional manner. YOU'LL ACCOMPLISH THESE GOALS BY: STRATEGY & PLANNING Lead data-driven media strategies from planning to execution with a holistic media perspective to achieve business goals. Includes establishing KPIs and ensuring optimal media investment, audience strategy, customer journeys, channel mix, flighting Build plans with an audience-first mentality to develop segmentation strategies and multi-channel customer journeys Manage partnerships with agencies and vendors to build comprehensive plans and provide best-in-class media solutions and innovation opportunities; may include Grand Openings Manage the day-to-day with agencies to deliver on time and on budget Accurately forecast annual, quarterly, monthly and weekly spend and revenue streams Define and manage media budgets across numerous campaigns, finding efficiencies and improving organization and prioritization of campaigns in flight Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure integrated plans across paid, owned, earned MEASUREMENT & LEARNING Partner closely with Analytics team to determine how to best measure, track, and report total media performance, including contribution to Marketing Mix Modeling (MMM) Uphold a learning culture by developing learning agendas, test & learns with key hypotheses, measurement plans, reporting, optimizations, and actionable learning THE ESSENTIALS OF SUCCESS Bachelor’s degree in marketing or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience 5+ years of experience developing and executing integrated media strategies across traditional and digital channels Deep understanding of the media landscape, media consumption Exceptional communication and collaboration skills with internal stakeholders, media agencies, and external media partners Able to manage competing priorities across functions and influence resource allocation by aligning with business and strategic goals Knowledgeable in Microsoft Excel, Word, SharePoint and PowerPoint Able to work independently Strong and effective presentation skills Detail oriented and able to proof own work Adaptable to shifting priorities, demands, and timelines, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills to navigate complexity and drive solutions. #LI-CO1 The pay range for this position is $88,200.00 - $130,000.00 / Year with the opportunity for eligible associates to earn additional compensation pursuant to the Company’s bonus plan. Exact pay will be based on factors including, but not limited to relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, level, shift, geographic location, and business and organizational needs.
