This will require coordination and review cross-border business transactions concerning the various tax requirements. In addition, this position will act as the tax governance interface with the business in close collaboration.
This includes, but is not limited to:
Defining global tax regulations for transfer pricing and permanent establishment matters, including risk management guidelines the business unit.Actively support the business unit to implement the tax governance requirements and monitor the implementation.Manage tax audits and conduct tax compliance trainings.Maintain close communication with global team to assess issues and conceptually develop and refine standards.This position has a dual reporting line into the US tax department and the global tax department in Germany. Must be able to accommodate time zone differences.

QualificationsBasic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or relevant field required. CPA or equivalent professional qualification strongly preferred.7+ years of relevant experience in international tax, ideally within a multinational corporation or public accounting firm.Strong knowledge of transfer pricing, permanent establishment, international tax principles, OECD guidelines, BEPS developments, and global tax compliance frameworks are required. Experience in governance, risk management, and internal controls related to tax.Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.Fluent in English, spoken and written.Preferred Qualifications:
Master's degree in taxation or a Juris Doctorate.Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively across cultures and functions.High level of integrity, accountability, and attention to detail.Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, to explain complex tax issues to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to manage and mentor a team.Strong project management skills.German language skills are an advantage.Additional InformationIndefinite U.S. work authorized individuals only.
