Location: Auckland is preferred; however, we welcome applications from candidates with the right skillset based in Wellington or Christchurch.

 

 

Ko Tō Rourou | Your key responsibilities   

As a Manager, you’ll play a pivotal role in delivering exceptional client service and driving business growth. You will:

 

Lead and manage multidisciplinary teams to support clients through buy-side and sell-side transactions, restructures, and international tax advisory projects. Conduct tax due diligence, identify risks and opportunities, and prepare clear, insightful reports and structuring papers. Guide clients through the tax aspects of transaction structuring, modelling, and integration, ensuring commercial objectives are met. Support business development by preparing presentations, participating in client meetings, and demonstrating deep knowledge of client industries.

 

You’ll also contribute to the development of less experienced team members, foster a collaborative environment, and uphold the highest standards of quality and risk management.

 

 

Ngā Pūkenga | Skills and attributes for success 

We’re looking for someone who brings both expertise and energy to the team. To succeed in this role, you’ll need:

 

Significant experience in tax consulting, ideally within a top-tier accounting firm or similar environment, with a strong background in international tax, transaction consulting, and due diligence. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex tax concepts clearly to clients and stakeholders. Strong project management abilities, including experience managing budgets, projects, and people, and a proven track record of delivering high-quality outcomes. A collaborative and innovative mindset, with a positive attitude, attention to detail, and a passion for building relationships and learning from others.

 

A relevant degree (such as Law, Accounting, or Finance) and professional certifications (e.g., CPA) are desirable. Above all, you’ll demonstrate professionalism, integrity, and a commitment to continuous development.
