The Manager Internal Control is part of the DAF Finance and Control organization, where you will engage with and support business controllers on monitoring, identification and reporting of risk findings, remedial corrective actions including risk assessments as well as gap analysis against regulatory guidance, best practices and policies and procedures. The programs relate to internal and business controls in financial and operational processes in purchasing, production, sales, product development, IT and finance & control at DAF Eindhoven, DAF Westerlo, Leyland Trucks, PACCAR Financial and the European sales offices. The Manager Internal Control is responsible, together with process owners, for the design of the internal control framework, mainly SOx and business controls with a clear link to IT related aspects. Internal audit will test design and operational effectiveness of the framework. Furthermore:You will work cross- departmental, such as finance, business, and IT, to ensure an integrated approach to internal controls and risk management. You are the primary contact for external and internal auditors and you are responsible for follow-up of deficiencies and audit findings.You will participate in projects from an internal control perspective, and you will be advising management in the design of processes, process improvements and optimization, and identification of risks.You report periodically to the Finance & Control management on the status, results and follow-up of these programs.In this role you report to the Controller Financial Accounting.
