What You’ll Do

 

As a Manager-in-Training (MIT), you’ll learn every aspect of store operations to prepare for a leadership role. Under the guidance of experienced mentors, you’ll master skills in people management, financial performance, operations, and customer service.

Your key responsibilities include:

People

Set clear expectations and communicate regularly with employees about goals, training, and customer serviceHold team members accountable through coaching and supportEnsure compliance with all company policies and proceduresRecruit, interview, and hire new employees as neededConduct regular performance evaluations

Financials

Analyze business trends and develop action plans to meet or exceed sales and profit targetsShare financial goals and results with the team during meetingsReview invoices and reports to find opportunities for growthMaintain tight controls over assets and cash handling

Facilities

Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming store environment—front and backEnsure all equipment is in good working order and request maintenance as neededOversee proper return of unused parts and credits

 What You Bring

 

✔ 2+ years of management experience or equivalent in the automotive industry
✔ Strong ability to coach and develop teams
✔ Proven success meeting sales and profit goals
✔ Previous automotive experience (Technician or similar role preferred)
✔ Valid driver’s license
✔ Must be at least 18 years old
✔ Ability to work 5+ days per week, including Saturdays (never Sundays!)
