This role is responsible for owning portfolio-wide marketing strategies for major segments. To be successful, the role will support the Director of Marketing in driving the desired behaviours and accountabilities across the team, as well as demonstrate a strong business acumen and effective communication style at all levels of the organisation. It will be essential to balance traditional and modern marketing principles to deliver exceptional customer experiences.

This role will play a pivotal part in the upcoming launch of Unity VCS/CS — a transformative innovation set to redefine ophthalmic surgery and elevate the customer experience across ANZ.

Market Expertise: Routinely analyse data for a deeper understanding of the customer, brand, and market, and utilise customer insight to make informed decisions and actionable tacticsPortfolio and Brand Strategy: Develop the portfolio and brand strategy with clearly defined tactics to support exceptional sales execution and, shape the future through Business Model Innovation, pricing framework and NPI launch excellenceBrand Position and Message: Apply best practice for the development, delivery and continuous refinement of brand positioning and marketing messages to execute effective campaigns and drive competitive differentiationPerformance Marketing: Be a Marketing thought-leader by driving customer engagement through digital initiatives across various channels with effective use of data-analytics and CRM ownershipCommercial Alignment: Partner closely with strategic accounts, sales team, and other cross-functional partners to align on strategic deliverables and promotional efforts to drive business resultsMarketing Operations: Own initiatives inclusive of marketing fundamentals to enhance overall brand equity and awareness

Essential Requirements

Marketing and/or Business-related degree or equivalentA minimum of 7 years’ experience in marketing roles in medical device industryStrong analytical skills: getting insights to drive changesGaining trust and building relationships with key stakeholders both externally and internallyStrong story-telling both written and verbal, and creative problem-solver with a can-do mind-setHigh-level of business acumen, and ability to influence at all levelsDemonstrated ability to manage multiple projects on time and within budgetCollobartion with multiple functions and teamsStrategic and innovative

Preferred Requirements

Experience with platforms such as salesforce.com and those for copy approval (Veeva) or sales aid deployment (Pitcher). Ready ability to learn and apply.
