On the HR Operations CALA team, reporting to Regional Director HR Operations, you will support projects including helping develop our HR Operations strategy, lay out strategic business cases and project plans and drive forward projects/initiatives to achieve our annual KSPs.

HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

Your role is important and below are some of the fundamental job duties that make your work unique.

What your day-to-day will be like:

Support the Sr. Manager, HR Operations and the Regional Director HR South America in managing and administering all aspects of the HR function across South America.Oversee daily HR operations for Corporate and Hotel Operations, including interviewing and hiring, recruitment support, onboarding, training & development, compensation & benefits coordination, team member relations, disciplinary procedures, statutory compliance, recognition programs, and performance evaluations.Manage the full corporate HR lifecycle across Brazil, Colombia, Argentina, and Uruguay, including offer letter creation, payroll/benefits coordination, performance cycles, TM relations, and terminations.Oversee HR data management systems, including team member data entry, transitions, dashboards (hires, separations, leaves), and reporting such as payroll analysis and turnover.Maintain and distribute regional HR resources (HR Field Roster, lifecycle tools, forms) to support day‑to‑day operations.Coordinate labor relations activities and country‑specific requirements with Area HRDs, including reporting, escalations, and analysis.Manage HR governance, policy adherence, audit readiness, immigration/visa processes, and HR compliance.Provide in‑language support (English & Portuguese) for investigations, TM relations, documentation, and communication validation.

How you will collaborate with others:

Partner with the Sr. Manager, HR Operations, the Regional Director HR South America, and Area HR Directors to track, manage, and coordinate regional initiatives, deliverables, and HR strategy execution.Work closely with SSO HR teams in Brazil, Colombia, Argentina, and Uruguay to ensure consistent delivery of corporate lifecycle processes.Collaborate with Corporate HR partners including Recruiting, Compensation & Benefits, Legal, TMR, and HR Operations on hiring, investigations, compensation calibration, and cyclical processes.Provide HR consulting support for cyclical activities such as talent management, performance reviews, succession activities, and TM surveys.Serve as a regional connector to ensure corporate policies, communications, and HR processes are implemented consistently across South America.

What projects you will take ownership of:

Prepare and support regional HR meetings, leadership reviews, and events by developing materials, presentations, insights, and follow‑up action plans.Create strategic HR project documents by collaborating with SMEs, synthesizing qualitative and quantitative insights, and presenting information clearly for HR Operations strategy.Facilitate and coordinate corporate and hotel HR audits, compliance reviews, risk mitigation activities, and process documentation.Lead and support the annual TM survey processes (GTMS & GPTW) for South America, including participation tracking and follow‑through.Drive HR process improvements, operational efficiency projects, system adoption (TMX/Oracle), and regional alignment initiatives in partnership with SSO and Corporate HR teams.Support change management and communication efforts across South America, ensuring clarity, consistency, and localization (Portuguese required) for HR policy and systems updates.
