Manager- Graduate Medical Education

ATHENS, GA

RESPONSIBLE FOR:
Responsible for overseeing and supporting the Graduate Medical Education (GME) program at Piedmont Athens Regional. Leads the GME staff and works with program medical directors, medical staff, and other
departments to ensure that the administrative oversight of, and support for, all programs is of the highest quality, that program objectives are achieved and accreditation standards are met.

Qualifications:

MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED:
Bachelor or Masters Degree from a recognized college or university in business administration, healthcare administration or closely related field.

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Five (5) years of direct Graduate Medical Education experience in a hospital environment with Bachelors Degree. Three (3) years of direct Graduate Medical Education experience in a hospital environment with Masters Degree. Demonstrated progressively responsible work experience.

MINIMUM LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION REQUIRED BY LAW:
None.

ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
Training Administrators of Graduate Medical Education (TAGME) National Board for Certification preferred.
