JOB SUMMARY

Manager Foundation - All Saints Fort Worth - Candidates must reside within the Fort Worth area.

Responsible for developing and executing strategies to achieve fundraising goals in support of Baylor Scott & White Health. This position supports and/or manages the development, cultivation, and solicitation of high net-worth constituents. Creates and implements specific strategies based on constituent interests and goals. Works with hospital administrators, physicians, and staff to identify needs and to develop compelling case statements for major fundraising initiatives.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE ROLE

Works both independently and as a team member to support and or manage the relationship building, cultivation and solicitation within an assigned portfolio of individual major gift donors and prospects with $25,000+ capacity.

Assesses giving potential, recommends target ask amounts, and develops personalized strategies for annual gifts.

Supports or conducts face-to-face visits, solicitations, and other high-level interactions with major gift donors and prospects.

Works closely with hospital administrators and staff to identify needs and develop compelling case statements for areas in need of funding.

Supports and participates in a full complement of prospect identification, cultivation and solicitation programs, including communication efforts, events and other creative strategies to generate support in the highest possibly gift ranges.

Contribute to the team achievement of metrics established for number of contacts with prospects and donors as well as number of solicitations. 
Evaluates progress toward financial goals and makes strategic revisions to fundraising plans accordingly.

Initiates opportunities for hospital leadership, board members, volunteers, and program directors to interact with prospects and current donors.

Works with Prospect Researcher to identify new sources of support from individual major gift prospects.

KEY SUCCESS FACTORS

Masters Degree Preferred.

7+ years of professional experience in relationship management or development support.

Experience in a profession with sophisticated relationship building such as - private banking, high net-worth sales, and/or major gift fundraising.

Proven success in development demonstrated by achievement of aggressive goals and objective measures.

Success in building relationships with physicians, administrative executives, and very sophisticated, high-net worth clients.

Requires the ability to communicate clearly and persuasively both orally and in writing.

Requires the ability to work under pressure and remain flexible as priorities change.

Must be very competitive and have a high sense of urgency.
