We’re recruiting a Manager Finance Data Science & PBFR Analytics for the Finance Reporting Solutions team in Portugal (other location potentially possible).

 

 

More specifically, you will:

 

 

Lead a team of data scientists and act as the bridge between business and technology, ensuring advanced analytics drive strategic decisions.

• Partner with stakeholders across Markets, Regions, and Central teams to identify data-driven opportunities.

• Collaborate with stakeholders in Markets, Regional and Central teams to identify opportunities for leveraging data science.

• Oversee the development and maintenance of machine learning models to support finance use cases.

• Support stakeholders in implementation of GenAI based projects.

• Drive the team’s professional growth through coaching, training, and performance management.

• Keep track of industry best practices and developments, bring new technologies, algorithms and frameworks for implementation.

• Manage project timelines, deliverables, and stakeholder expectations.

 

 

Who we're looking for:

 

 

• Degree in Engineering, Economics, Finance, Management, Information Management, Statistics and Econometrics, Business Analytics, Data Analysis or similar.

• Minimum 5 years of experience in data science, with at least 2 years in a leadership or project management role.

• Strong communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.

• Project management experience.

• Collaborative and customer focus-oriented attitude.

• Curiosity and drive to stay ahead in the fast-evolving analytics and AI landscape.

• Proficiency in Python (NumPy, Pandas, scikit-learn) and SQL.

• Familiarity with ML lifecycle and time series forecasting preferred.

• Experience with BI tools like Power BI.

• Knowledge of Agile Framework - Scrum methodology is a plus.

• Experience in Finance is a plus.

• Advanced level of English spoken and written.
