The Manager Executive Chef supervises plans, directs, supervises and coordinates the daily operations of a team of Food and Nutrition caregivers. This position is responsible for providing seamless customer service in the area of meals for patients, retail and catering. Handles food according to HACCP guidelines and is aware of minimum standards for a quality food service operation. Adheres to standard recipes and plating guidelines. Responsible for accuracy of all assembled meal orders, maintaining par stocks, ordering supplies and rotating product for maximum quality. Acts as an effective customer service liaison to all customers and facility departments.

Required qualifications:

within 30 days of hire: National Food Handler Card - State County City Authority.upon hire: National ServSafe Manager Certification - National Restaurant Association.4 years Experience as a cook in a culinary environment (prep work and/or grill work)2 years Leading a team in a dining services environment

Preferred qualifications:

Associate's Degree in Culinary Arts.  [Certification of completion from an accredited culinary trade school (2-4 Year program)Customer Service Experience
