Job Summary This position will provide leadership and responsibility for quality, productivity and efficiency in the Greater Charlotte Market ambulatory electrophysiology department. Experience: Three years supervisory experience with a total of three to four years of clinical experience in multiple modalities. Previous experience with obtaining/maintaining department certifications, required. Licensure/Certification: One certification in the following areas: Required Nuclear(NMTCB) RT, sonographer (ARDMS) CCI, CCDS CEPS or RCIS Additional Skills (required): Thorough knowledge of policies and procedures, computer/information systems, equipment used in assigned departments along with infection control procedures. Possesses abilities in team building, decision making and conflict management. Applies advanced skills in the area of specialization. Ability to network and recruit to gain new talent for the involved centers. Drive growth and process improvement in cardiac monitoring device programs. Develop and maintain Atrial Fibrillation Accreditation/Certification in electrophysiology Lab at PMC in collaboration with EP leadership at Presbyterian Medical Center. Also have the ability to work with clinic administrators, physicians, vendors and corporate departments to make recommendations around replacement equipment when existing equipment is at end of life or when new equipment for new programs is needed. Additional Skills (preferred): Advanced knowledge of holter/event recorders, implantable loop recorder, pacemaker and defibrillator function. Electronic medical records experience, particularly with EPIC. Uses technology and best practice methods to achieve clinical outcomes. Strives to grow personally and professionally.
