Manager DTC FO Planning

Purpose/Mission

This role is responsible to meet or exceed Sales & KPIs for franchisee run Mono brand Stores. This person will also be responsible to drive commercial success, strengthen retail execution in the assigned partner’s stores and drive partner profitability.

Key Responsibilities

 

Franchise/Partner Account Management:

Key Relationships – Partner | Finance | DTC excellence | RE & SD

Identify and communicate market needs and best practices in STFOs To drive franchise partner’s performance by setting objectives, strategies, tactics, allocate resources and ensure translation into action plans respecting the framework set by the franchise partner portfolio strategies Work on periodic account/portfolio P&L review with the franchise partner and ensure suitable actions are taken towards meeting the Net sale plan as well franchise partner profitability. Maintain a strong working relationship with the key stakeholders in the franchise partner organization as well as in adidas.   Retail Sales and Compliances:

Key Relationships – DTC Excellence | Omni | SA | Merchandising | Partner

Review sell-out performance periodically with the store teams and franchise teams thereby driving retail efficiencies Review KTZ performance periodically along with the franchise partner team Prepare, align, and review the annual portfolio plan at store level with the franchise partner. Driving best practices in stores in coordination with VM/Merchandising and the DTC excellence teams Closely liaison with the training team to deliver world class service experience in the stores responsible along with the franchise partner trainers. To ensure all stores comply Global VM standards and guidelines.

 

Sell in Management:

Key Relationships – CS | Merchandising | SCM | Partner | Finance | Legal | DTC excellence |

Prepare, align, and review the annual NS plan for the portfolio and ensure NS forecasts are met for the organization Work in close co-ordination with SCM team to ensure partner receives the stock statements on time at periodic intervals to meet the NS plan for the year. Work in close co-ordination with Finance team to ensure partner is operating in line with specified norms as per the contract. Identify additional net sale opportunities and execute those plans in alignment with the franchise partner.

 

Footprint Management:

Key Relationships – RE & SD | Finance | Partner | DTC Excellence

Evaluate new store opportunities along with the franchise partner team, adidas real estate team and regional operations team. Draft new store proposals in synchronization with the above stakeholders. Evaluate relocation/resizing opportunities as well as loss making store closures to have an efficient and a profitable store portfolio.

 

Inventory and Offer Planning:

Key Relationships – Merchandising | SCM | Omni | DTC Excellence | Finance

Review the seasonality of stocks periodically in order to firm up the required stocks from adidas and further plan the offer on the existing stocks appropriately. Address gaps if any through appropriate refill orders, mainline orders etc. Ensure the markdowns planned are in sync with the adidas brand guidance. Calendarize and align key stakeholders for the offers planned for the year. Take suitable interventions basis any challenges observed on account of business continuity and liquidation of old season merchandise. Plan & Manage Employees venue sales as per the brand liquidation requirements

 

People Management

Key Relationships – SA | Partner | DTC excellence

Ensure the franchise partner has a lean organization structure and has put forward the appropriate resources to manage all aspects of the business appropriately. Review people performance of the partner front end and back end teams and giving them constructive feedback and appropriate direction. Instill a culture of sports and fitness among the partner front end and back end teams so that the people are in tune with the adidas core belief.
