Your new job | About your main responsibilities
As a Manager Digital Sustainability, you’ll be part of the Climate Change and Sustainability Services team. In this role, you will:

Design and implement enterprise systems in the EHS and ESG domain, including designing and hosting client interviews and workshops to document client requirements. Assist clients in developing their data/digital strategy around EHS and ESG solution including identification of gaps, recommendations for remediation, and design of solutions. Serve as an end-to-end project manager by developing and maintaining a detailed project plan which consists of tasks and schedules; oversee engagement economics and managing appropriate resources for efficient engagement models. Evaluate and recommend software solutions and updates to existing and new clients; recommend new approaches and ideas that continuously improve efficiency. Participate in new client and engagement pursuits and provide insights on the EHS and ESG marketplace. Coordinate other work groups within the same or different office locations and/or within the same or different disciplines on an as-needed basis. Guide client management through the change management process and acceptance of change related to deployment of enterprise management systems. Use SQL and Visual Studio to automate data uploading, migration and reporting. Work with client IT and business teams on data cleansing, designing and executing data migration tasks from old systems into new applications, performing quality checks on data, designing mock-ups based on client requirements, and developing reports for various audiences. Serve as a mentor to colleagues and other firm professionals on EHS and ESG digital matters.


Colleagues and clients from a diverse array of backgrounds will look to you first for answers on EHS and ESG matters, and your insights and experience will be called upon to resolve complex issues. As you build your knowledge and experience, you will become a credible advisor, influencing clients, and engagement teams on continual process improvement.

Within the Climate Change and Sustainability Services (CCaSS) department, we provide advice and support to our clients in the areas of sustainability controls and assurance on various sustainability aspects. Our team in the Netherlands consists of approximately 180 colleagues and is characterized, among other things, by our shared passion for sustainability and creating long-term value.

Our Amsterdam office is located at the Zuidas: a bustling area full of companies. In our Cross Towers, we welcome up to 1.500 people every day. For a breathtaking view of the city, head to the 22nd floor. Your skills and strengths | About your unique contribution

A bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering, computer science, environmental science, statistics or data analytics. At least 5 years of work experience in EHS or ESG software. Experience in implementing EHS, ESG, Life Cycle Analysis (LCA) or similar software for large complex organizations. Experience in managing and driving large, complex implementation projects. Experience in programming languages such as SQL, Visual Basic and Java. Experience with popular EHS/ESG software such as Enablon, SAP, Microsoft, Sweep, FigBytes, etc. A deep understanding of environmental regulation; safety regulations and compliance processes; and/or the environmental, social, and governance (ESG) reporting landscape and business drivers (especially CSRD, CSDDD, EUDR, etc.) Licensure as appropriate for your profession (e.g. PE, PMP, CAP, Six Sigma, etc.) Proven project management skills Able to communicate fluently in English and preferably in Dutch as well.
