As a part of the Enterprise Digital Center of Excellence, you will be responsible for developing world class digital products, capabilities and marketing programs that support our global markets and help drive performance marketing growth.

How will you make an impact in this role? 

In the role of Manager: Digital Publisher Partnership Solutions, you will be a part of the Enterprise Performance Channel Solutions team, which is responsible for delivering the Enterprise level strategy with major digital publishers, ongoing partnerships, and critical advertising technology.  This team plays an integral part in delivering on revenue-driving business outcomes by ensuring American Express has access to best-in-class advertising solutions that future-proof our business. 

A successful candidate will have a track-record of setting and delivering strategies on behalf of stakeholders with diverse marketing needs, a deep understanding of the digital media and advertising landscape, and a strong view of the regulatory and privacy landscape surrounding ad tech. This is an exciting opportunity to join a global team of subject matter experts, while also gaining exposure to many colleagues across the business and critical Amex-external partners.

Key Responsibilities:

Work closely with the Director of Digital Publisher Partnership Solutions to develop a comprehensive ad tech strategy for the Enterprise which delivers to changing consumer behavior, changing business needs and the changing digital advertising industry, future-proofing the largest channels of marketing for AmexAct as an Enterprise expert and central point of contact for advertising platforms and ad techPartner across internal marketing, product, and analytics teams to align on advertising priorities, and connect roadmaps  and use cases into a central strategyTranslate complex advertising platform ecosystem into product roadmaps, gaining buy-in from marketing, legal, and compliance teams against Enterprise prioritiesSupport program and portfolio management activities across the delivery of multi-year advertising enablement roadmap.Regular self-assessments of the processes, risks, and controls related to the responsibilities of this teamChampion the ad tech needs of the business across internal stakeholders (i.e. InfoSec, Legal, etc.) to ensure compliant solutions and partner management.

Qualifications:

Experience as a ‘Technical Marketer’ with an understanding of Marketing, Data and Tech used to power business goalsExcellent partner management skillsExcellent cross-functional collaboratorExceptional program management and organization skillsStrong external perspective- ability to look externally at advertising landscape to understand and synthesize current and future trends, regulations, opportunities, and threats Ability to translate external perspectives into internal strategiesProven ability to develop a business-centric strategy and influencing skills required to deliver on a strategyExcellent communication and presentation skills: ability to translate technical concepts into laymen’s terms, ability to adapt messages across teams and levels within an organizationUnderstanding of ad tech product development and delivery processUnderstanding of regulatory environment surrounding advertising technology Non-considerations for sponsorship: Employment eligibility to work with American Express in the UK is required as the company will not pursue visa sponsorship for these positions.
