Lead central planning for Laboratory Equipment Division, handling E & O, Inventory, DOS, and SIOP to improve customer centricity.
Critical Job Functions and Accountabilities:Demand Planning:
MTO / MTS determinationGenerate firm and rolling forecasts for LED using validated statistical toolsDrive demand consensus through cross-functional partnerships, including commercial, finance, and product management teams to meet revenue plansDefine ROP levels using historical dataMeasure and report forecast accuracy, review forecast bias, and build RCCM to improve accuracySupply Planning:Define and Supervise stock levels across the network per stocking normsGenerate MRP through SAP, considering monthly forecastsEnsure timely order placements and track deliveries rigorouslyMaintain supply consensus with business partnersPrevent controllable stock-outs of materialsPrepare, review, and circulate shippable backlog quarterlyReview and ensure accuracy of network inventory for system hygieneShare insights with customer service team on material availabilityBuild quarterly decks for critical issues on constraint SKUsCoordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely material processingConduct monthly, quarterly, and weekly reviews with factoriesDrive SIOP:Prepare and consolidate SIOP data with team membersPresent SIOP data to commercial, product, finance teams, advising on foreasts and challengesAlign on management decisions during SIOP reviewsDraft and publish MOMs of SIOP meetingsEnsure follow-ups on action items from SIOP meetingsData Analytics and Process Improvements:Apply data science experience to analyze datasets and uncover trendsSupport business analytics related to planning and procurementImplement efficiency through elimination, automation, and outsourcingIdentify process improvement opportunities to improve system efficiencyInventory Management:Drive inventory planning as per the Annual Operating Plan (AOP)Coordinate SKU/location-level DOS performanceEngage with commercial teams to handle slow-moving and non-moving stockCollaborate with global supply chain teams to liquidate excess inventoryMeet DOS and inventory targets using simulation methods and scenario planningEducation & Experience Levels:
Any Engineering/Graduate or a related field5 - 8 yrs experience in relevant fieldKey critical metrics:Days of stock (DOS)Inventory EntitlementExpired and Obsolete (E&O)LIFR (Fill Rate)Forecast AccuracyLOTC (Supplier Fill Rate)Visibility AccuracyFactory performancePPINote: Track bowler for all KRAs monthly.
