Manager Data and Reporting - Europe & Global Sales - temp 12 months (m/f/d)

Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization:

Responsible for translating raw data into information to empower teams in different markets to create their own insights and act accordingly. Analysing & reporting on the external and internal data from various transaction & interaction data sources related to sporting goods industry, channels and categories.

Shape our data ecosystem by working closely with data suppliers in order to understand their technical requirements, collect, analyse and integrate new data into our data infrastructure. Close collaboration across multiple geographies with the objective of driving market insights, competitors’ analyses, and business performance.

The position will be translating business requests related to analytics & being responsible for data quality, conformity, dashboards creation and data maintenance.



Key responsibilities:

Data Management

Connect with external stakeholders/data suppliers to understand technical requirements Connect with internal stakeholders to understand businesses criteria for data mapping Build and run ETL workflows combining data technical aspects and internal businesses criteria Guarantee quality assurance, validating and comparing results from different data sources and outputs from ETL process Contribute to analytics initiatives, including support to customer segmentation and product mapping Develop and maintain mapping files, data glossary and documentation

 

Reporting Management

Collect feedback from internal stakeholders to improve all reports Improve and develop backend, as well as layout for reports (current and new) Create dashboards and automated reports with high quality (visual appealing and easy to read) Update required ‘Reports’ and share with internal stakeholders highlighting relevant facts 

 

Data Analysis

Ensure and provide quality of analytical accuracy thru complex data sources and reporting these to various internal stakeholders Define KPI´s to derive and develop ad hoc and standard reports including dashboards for executive level and business managing stakeholders

 

 

 

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Experience in reporting tools such as Power BI, MicroStrategy and Tableau (Advanced skills) Experience in data manipulation tools such as Databricks and Alteryx (Advanced skills) Excel & Power Point skills. Being able to automate processes & calculations, optimizing process time and generate automated reports in Excel (output in PPT & PDF file) Highly numerate with a strong capability to analyse data and present conclusions Extensive experience of analytics and reporting  Problem-solving and decision-making abilities Someone who considers quality, accuracy and attention to detail as critical  High knowledge of Data environments

 

 

Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications: 

Minimum of 3 years’ market/business intelligence experience University Degree (e.g. in Business, Economics, Econometrics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Business Informatics or similar) Fluency in English (written and verbal)
