Your day to day
You’ll sit at the center of Finance’s data & analytics transformation, shaping how strategy, governance, and execution come together. Acting as a strategic partner to Finance leadership, you’ll ensure our data products, BI, and advanced analytics are coherent, trusted, and consistently aligned to business value.
This is not a delivery or tooling role. Instead, you’ll set direction, define guardrails, and keep momentum, making sure Finance decisions are powered by connected, well‑governed, and AI‑ready data.
More specifically, you’ll
Shape and steer the Finance Data & Analytics strategy, translating business priorities into a clear, value‑anchored data product portfolio across BI and advanced analytics.Own the decision rhythm and portfolio governance, ensuring priorities, trade‑offs, assumptions, and dependencies are transparent and traceable.Guard the Finance D&A operating model, clarifying roles, enforcing engagement rules, and ensuring consistent governance from concept through retirement.Define and uphold Finance acceptance standards for data architecture, semantics, lineage, and access, so solutions are reusable, decision‑grade, and AI‑ready.Maintain a single, governed view of the Finance data product portfolio, identifying duplication or fragmentation and driving consolidation toward single source, single meaning solutions.Ensure every Finance data product has clear ownership, semantic definitions, lineage, SLAs, and a measurable value hypothesis.Align and orchestrate across stakeholders within and outside Finance, anticipating risks, removing bottlenecks, and accelerating decisions.Broker complex cross‑functional decisions, calling out where needed to keep delivery fast without compromising quality or standards.
Who we’re looking for
A senior D&A professional with strong experience shaping or governing Finance (or adjacent) data & analytics portfolios in complex, cross‑functional environments.Degree in Finance, Data/Information Management, Engineering, Analytics, or equivalent experience; certifications such as CDMP or analytics governance credentials are a plus.Deep understanding of data architecture and semantics, including domain‑driven design, semantic layers, interoperability, lineage, and policy‑driven access.Validated expertise in data ownership, stewardship, and governance, with hands‑on experience in metric certification, metadata/catalogs, and lifecycle management.Comfortable operating at senior levels, able to turn ambiguity into crisp options, frame trade‑offs, and secure alignment across diverse partners.A strategic problem solver with a portfolio mindset, focused on reuse over rebuild and disciplined prioritization tied to business value.Someone who enjoys being the “glue” across teams: calm under pressure, decisive, and credible as a delegate for senior leadership.
