They help clients navigate complex transactions and maximise value in their business deals.Those in corporate finance at PwC will provide strategic financial advice and solutions to help clients navigate complex business transactions and optimise their capital structure. You will analyse financial data, conduct due diligence, and assist in mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures.
PwC Vietnam’s Corporate Finance team provides financial and strategic advice to our clients contemplating Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A) transactions, including fund-raising, buy-side and sell-side initiatives. PwC Vietnam Corporate Finance is frequently appointed as financial advisor for both multinational and domestic companies. In assuming the role of lead deal financial advisor, we provide the following key value-added services:
· Deal origination and evaluation
· Identification of potential targets/investors
· Providing deal structural advice
· Valuation advisory
· Negotiation support
· Regulatory and compliance matters advisory; and
· Project management
We are pleased to invite ambitious and highly qualified candidates to apply for the Manager position in our Corporate Finance team in our Hanoi office.
Responsibilities:
· Independently manage M&A transaction projects, with the support of junior members and under the overall guidance of the Partner and Director.
· Prepare pitch documents such as proposals, teasers and information memorandum.
· Independently take initiatives in business origination.
· Facilitate and supervise the conduct of market research.
· Compile financial models and provide valuation analysis.
· Work in conjunction with various professional advisors, including lawyers, to facilitate the preparation of Letters of Intent, terms sheets and Sale and Purchase Agreements.
· Perform high-level financial analysis and review of client companies.
· Participate in meetings among clients, counterparts and various professionals and provide support to the clients in the negotiations, due diligence and deal-closing processes.
· Guide and mentor a team of juniors.
Requirements:
· 5 to 7 years of corporate finance and/or transaction advisory experience with investment banks, consulting professional firms or corporations.
· Strong financial background with a solid understanding of M&A processes and familiarity with business valuation and financial modelling.
· Dynamic personality with the ability to demonstrate leadership and inspire trust in clients.
· Possesses excellent verbal and written communication abilities as well as strong analytical and evaluation skills, while demonstrating accuracy and attention to detail when working in a fast-paced environment.
· Enjoy working as part of a multi-cultural team.
· A self-starter with a high level of initiative.
· A positive attitude and strong organisational skills are essential.
· Strong understanding of the local market and good networking skills.
· Having ACCA, CPA Australia qualification or passing any level of the CFA exam is an advantage.
