The Undersea Warfare Organization is seeking a highly experienced and skilled Contracts Manager to lead a high-performing contracts management team supporting the Integration & Advanced Development and Submarine Development & Production submarkets. As a leader in our contracts organization, you will provide strategic guidance, direction, and oversight to a team of contracts professionals, managing a complex and diverse portfolio of contracts with US Government (USG) customers, including the Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) and Naval Supply Systems Command (NAVSUP).

In this critical role, you will be responsible for ensuring the effective and efficient management of contracts, from cradle to grave, and will serve as a key interface with internal stakeholders, customers, and industry partners. Your expertise and leadership will be essential in driving contract performance, mitigating risks, and identifying opportunities for growth and improvement.

Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or higher in Business Administration, Contract Management, or related field

At least 8 years of experience in contracts management, with a focus on government contracting

Strong knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS)

Experience with contract types, including CPIF, CPFF, FFP, T&M, and BOAs

Proven leadership and management skills, with experience guiding a team of contracts professionals

Strong business acumen, with ability to understand and manage contract financials and profitability
Desired Skills:
Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills

Advanced degree in Business Administration, Contract Management, or related field

Professional certification in contracts management, such as Certified Professional Contracts Manager (CPCM) or
Certified Commercial Contracts Manager (CCCM)

Experience with contracts management in the aerospace and defense industry

Strong analytical and organizational skills, with ability to manage multiple contracts and programs simultaneously

Experience with contract management software and tools, such as SAP or similar systems

Experience working with USG customers, including NAVSEA and NAVSUP

Familiarity with Lockheed Martin contracts management policies and procedures
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
Clearance Level: Secret

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
