Role Overview:

The Contracts Logistics Center (CLC) Sales Engineering Manager is a frontline leader for the North American CLC team in Florence, SC responsible for eLogistics user support, product and cost administration as well as deviation and technical support for our sales force.

The CLC Sales Engineering Manager will be based at our North American manufacturing facility in Florence, SC working in a hybrid setup.

Key Responsibilities:

Establishing objectives for direct reports and ensuring the duties, responsibilities and accountability of all direct reports are defined and understoodEnsuring timeliness and accuracy of output to support task/project delivery expectationsMonitoring team performance and providing regular feedbackAssisting with employee development and trainingDriving results by managing through the team and utilizing team strengthsDriving continuous improvement processes and initiatives within the team Ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures and upholding company values, ethics, mission and vision



What You Will Need to be Successful:

Bachelor's degree required (engineering or technical degree is preferred, but not required)Have experience in the elevator industry and familiarity with elevator components and systemsDemonstrate the ability to design and build productivity tools.Have 5+ year’s work experience in a manufacturing environment, including knowledge of project management, tooling materials, and machining processesExcellent organizational, time management and problem-solving skillsFocused on delivering resultsWorking knowledge of Microsoft Office software  Ability to read engineering documentsA self-motivated personalityWell organized and attentive to detailsEffective LeaderExcellent communicatorDedicated to process improvementAble to work in cross-functional and global teams, respect individual differences, and welcome diverse thinkingCost accounting experience
