Job Description:
The position of Clinical Regulatory Program Director at Intermountain Health has oversight and responsibility for managing the development, deployment, and ongoing evaluation of key performance strategies for a continuous regulatory readiness program across the enterprise. This role has system responsibility for all things pertaining to The Joint Commission accreditation process as well as CMS/State certification. This position will partner with the System Director of Clinical Regulatory Affairs to ensure a state of continuous regulatory readiness, and collaboration with Operating Lanes, Clinical Programs, Clinical Excellence services, central entities, and all care sites. This position will direct internal multidisciplinary Mock Surveys, oversee the survey readiness program software, and deploy external surveys, often with last minute travel.

Job SummaryThis role serves as a system-wide regulatory leader, providing expert guidance and support for new care site evaluations and ongoing compliance initiatives. The position is responsible for leading accreditation and certification efforts across CMS, State, and The Joint Commission (TJC), ensuring readiness and excellence in regulatory performance.
Key ResponsibilitiesLead evaluations for new care sites and provide continuous regulatory support.Serve as the system lead for CMS, State, and TJC accreditation and certification processes.Act as the subject matter expert and steward of regulatory software systems.Direct system-wide mock surveys for hospitals, Critical Access Hospitals, and home care settings.Provide regulatory leadership for system-level committees and initiatives.Minimum QualificationsMaster's degree in Nursing, Business, Healthcare Administration, Public Health, Informatics, Organizational Development, or business/health-related field. Education must be obtained through an accredited institution or experienceExperience leading teams through complex adaptation and implementation of new regulatory processes.Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously with demonstrated ability to complete projects successfully on time and within budget.Excellent leadership attributes including positive, can-do attitude, creativity, and enthusiasm.Preferred Qualifications
Clinical License: Registered Nurse preferred, but willing to accept applications from other professional healthcare licenses with adequate regulatory/accreditation experience.Content expert on federal, state and Joint Commission standards/regulations applicable to the acute care setting and associated clinics.Experience with change management with the ability to provide leadership in the adaptation and implementation of new processes and technology that enhances regulatory readiness.Demonstrated experience with regulations/standards and accreditation survey processes for State/Federal agencies, The Joint Commission, etc. Physical RequirementsAbility to travel last minute and unplanned with reliable transportation and arrive at Intermountain Health locations within a reasonable amount of time.Ability to see and read information, documents, monitors, identify equipment and supplies, and assess customer needs.Frequent verbal communication and active listening during interactions with providers, colleagues, patients, and visitors.Manual dexterity of hands and fingers, including frequent use of a computer for typing and accessing information.Expected to drive a vehicle, requiring sitting, seeing, and reading signs, traffic signals, and other vehicles.Ability to travel by air and stay in hotels as needed.Physical Requirements:
