THE OPPORTUNITY
In this role, you will lead the local Business Intelligence team and take ownership of BI delivery, prioritization and stakeholder alignment. You will combine people leadership with hands-on BI expertise to ensure the organization receives clear, reliable and well-presented insights that support operational and strategic decision-making.
You will step into a critical phase where the BI function requires direction, structure and accountability, while continuing to mature data visualization, storytelling and analytics capabilities in close collaboration with stakeholders.
Responsibilities of this role:
Lead, coach and develop a local BI team, ensuring clear priorities and delivery focusAct as primary BI partner for business stakeholders, managing demand and expectationsOwn backlog prioritization and translate business needs into BI solutionsEnsure high-quality dashboards, reports and insights using data from multiple sourcesDrive data storytelling, visualization standards and usability of BI outputsSupport continuous improvement of BI processes, tools and ways of workingContribute operationally when needed to support delivery and team credibility
KEY REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Analytics, Business Intelligence, Computer Science, Engineering, Economics or a related fieldMinimum 6–8 years of experience in BI, analytics or data-driven roles, including prior hands-on executionProven experience in people management, team leadership or coaching within a data or analytics environmentStrong experience with BI tools, preferably Power BI; experience with SQL, data models and database architecture is a strong advantageSolid understanding of data visualization, dashboard design and data storytelling principlesFluency in English is required; knowledge of Dutch and/or French is a strong plusStrong stakeholder management, prioritization and decision-making skills in a complex, fast-moving environment
