Amazon Customer Service for Amazon Business is looking for a Manager Business Intelligence Engineer to help build next generation metrics and drive business analytics that have measurable impact. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of different businesses and customer profiles - the underlying analytics, and the ability to translate business requirements into analysis, collect and analyze data, and make recommendations back to the business. BIEs also continuously learn new systems, tools, and industry best practices to help design new studies and build new tools that help our team automate, and accelerate analytics.
As a Manager Business Intelligence Engineer, you will develop strategic reports, design UIs and drive projects to support Amazon Business Customer Service decision making. This role is inherently cross-functional — you will work closely with finance teams, engineering, and leadership across Amazon Business Customer Service.
A successful candidate will be a self-starter, comfortable with ambiguity, able to think big and be creative (while still paying careful attention to detail). You should be skilled in database design, be comfortable dealing with large and complex data sets, and have experience building self-service dashboards and using visualization tools especially Tableau. You should have strong analytical and communication skills.
You will work with a team of analytics professionals who are passionate about using machine learning to build automated systems and solve problems that matter to our customers. Your work will directly impact our customers and operations.
Members of this team will be challenged to innovate use the latest big data techniques. We are looking for people who are motivated by thinking big, moving fast, and exploring business insights.
