Manager Budgeting and Forecasting
Job Summary Functions as the primary manager for the Corewell Health System Budget and Forecasting team. Oversees the day-to-day operations of the Budget and Forecasting team including monthly and quarterly forecasting, annual budgeting process, long term budgeting, process standardization and adhoc reporting. Essential Functions + Provides leadership to the System Budget and Forecasting team. + Drive standardization and efficiencies in the systemwide Budget and Forecasting process + Leads the advancement and operation of financial budget and forecasting technology and systems, including roadmapping future enhancements and leveraging best practices + Ensures that key planning deliverables are accurate and submitted to leadership based on required deliverable dates + Leads the team in innovative thinking. + Handle various adhoc reporting requests for all levels of management within the organization and present results and/or recommendations either written or orally within timeframes agreed to with customer. + D evelops plans to meet unexpected situations, new developments and changes in the business environment. + Develops solutions to problems of unusual complexity, which require a high degree of ingenuity, creativity, and innovation. + Leads the implementation and operation of the systemwide rolling forecasting process . + Collaborate with internal business partners to support Budget and Forecasting objectives and outcomes. + Selects, trains, develop and evaluates subordinates and initiates personnel actions in accordance with departmental policies and organization philosophy.
