Your new role
As the Manager of API Supply Chain Management, you will play a pivotal role in driving the efficiency and effectiveness of our supply chain operations. You will oversee a team of 10 dedicated professionals, ensuring collaboration among various departments and stakeholders, optimizing output plans, and supporting the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) activities. Your analytical expertise and leadership will be essential in developing processes, monitoring performance, and enhancing talent within your team.

Main Responsibilities:

Ensure API manufacturing challenges/opportunities is being anchored in the Sales & Operations Planning process. Work with our central S&OP process on creating transparency around manufacturing sce-narios, to balance demand and supply. Create and communicate complex volume scenarios for senior stakeholders, in a simple way. Establish and maintain the standard for API planning. Provide analytical consultancy for supply chain-related tasks and support stakeholders. Ensure PS API delivers a solid data foundation for raw material forecasting. Support the business and senior management with ad-hoc Supply Chain related activities. Coach and mentor your team to excel in digital solutions and supply chain analytics initiatives. Ensure alignment on PS API capacities and collaborate with strategic partners on scenarios.

 

Your new department
API Supply Chain Management is the central department for the API manufacturing units in Denmark and the US. We are responsible for managing API Sales & Operations Planning activities and are driving the volume budget process. Additionally, we provide analytical consultancy for supply chain tasks through advanced analytics and other Digital Supply Chain Enhancement tools.
You will join an international and high-performing team based in Kalundborg, Denmark, one of the world's largest insulin production facilities. Your skills and qualifications
We are looking for a candidate who possesses the following qualifications:

A master’s degree in economics, Business Administration, Engineering, Supply Chain, or a related field. A proven track record of experience as a manager in supply chain management within international production environments, including cross-functional projects. High analytical skills with deep business insights. In-depth knowledge of handling complex supply chains in international companies. Fluency in both written and spoken English. Experience with LEAN methodologies.

 

As a person, you are self-motivated and bring high energy and engagement to every project, driving implementation with a results-oriented approach. Your open and honest management style fosters integrity and credibility, enabling you to motivate team members while maintaining a focus on deadlines and quality. With a strong analytical mindset and effective communication skills, you balance humility and leadership in cross-cultural contexts, ensuring collaboration and success.
