As a manager, program management in the Partner Resources business operations, planning and PMO team, you will play a significant role in shaping and leading the PMO that delivers critical priorities across the business.
You will lead a team of talent program managers who collaborate across PRO teams—including Talent & Inclusion, Total Rewards & Service Delivery, and North America Partner Resources to deliver high-impact initiatives that align with Starbucks’ enterprise and PRO strategic priorities.
**_As a_** **_manager, program management leading the Partner Resources PMO, you will have responsibility for:_** ** **
**Leadership & Team Management**
· Leading and developing a team of project and program management professionals, fostering collaboration and accountability.
· Ensuring consistent practices and methodologies across programs and projects.
· Fostering a culture of trust, integrity, and collaboration across diverse teams.
· Championing decision-making that balances data, stakeholder input, and strategic alignment.
**Stakeholder Engagement**
· Ensuring alignment and visibility to how the PMO functions and allocates resources.
· Leading PMO resource planning to ensure alignment with priorities.
· Collaborating across Partner Resources and cross-functional teams to ensure delivery of critical programs and projects.
· Coordinating across multiple cross-functional teams, including technology, finance, and coffeehouse operations.
**PMO Delivery &** **Continuous Improvement**
· Identifying opportunities to streamline processes, improve tools and incorporate feedback into the PMO practices.
· Staying current on program and project management practices – industry standards and Starbucks enterprise processes.
· Implementing standardized PMO methodologies to improve delivery.
**_We’d_** **_ love to hear from people with the following:_**
· HR program management – 8+ years.
· Experience building and leading teams including program managers and senior project managers.
· Proven strategic program leadership with demonstrated skills and experience working on complex large-scale transformational programs.
· Experience influencing senior stakeholders and driving alignment across complex organizations.
· Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.

*If you are working in CA, CO, IL, LA, ME, MA, NE, ND or RI, you will accrue vacation up to a maximum of 120 hours (190 in CA) for roles below director and 200 hours (316 in CA) for roles at director or above. For roles in other states, you will be granted vacation time starting at 120 hours annually for roles below director and 200 hours annually for roles director and above.
The actual base pay offered to the successful candidate will be based on multiple factors, including but not limited to job-related knowledge/skills, experience, geographical location, and internal equity. At Starbucks, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at the high end of the range for their role, and compensation decisions are dependent upon the facts and circumstances of each position and candidate.
