Manager, Visual Merchandising Nike Direct LATAM
WHO YOU WILL WORK WITH You’ll be part of the action, partnering with diverse teams across our Nike Direct Stores and APLA counterparts. Reporting to the Retail Marketing Director, you’ll build strong partnerships with store teams, the business, Field VMS, Geo teammates and Retail Marketing. Success in this role relies on open communication, teamwork, and staying ahead of marketplace trends. Primary functional relationships include: + Merchandising + Brand Management + Retail Brand + APLA VMS WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR We’re searching for a Visual Merchandising Lead who lives and breathes retail, thrives in a competitive and collaborative environment, and brings deep VM expertise. You should be a strategic thinker with proven experience managing teams, influencing decisions, and driving change at scale. Strong communication skills and the ability to connect creative, consumer and business priorities are essential, along with a passion for storytelling, styling and creating inspiring in-store experiences. We value candidates with a solid understanding of retail trends, exceptional presentation abilities, and proficiency in the tools needed to execute at a high level (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Keynote; Mac proficiency preferred). A background in Visual Merchandising, Marketing, Business, Design, or related fields, supported by 5+ years of experience, will set you up for success. Experience with footwear and apparel is a plus, as well as the willingness to travel 2–4 times a year. WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON As the VMS Lead, you’ll be the driving force behind Nike’s in-store brand narrative—leading the VMS team, shaping seasonal strategies, and creating tools for the Field team to bring product stories to life across stores. You will collaborate closely with consumer, merchandising, marketing, and marketplace teams to ensure alignment and flawless execution. Key responsibilities include: + Developing APLA VM presentation direction and tools + Leading pre-season zoning, mapping, and presentation strategy development + Delivering inputs and tools that shape the functional code process and the retail end-in-mind vision + Supporting physical builds that drive cross-functional alignment + Partnering with the Retail Brand team on seasonal planning + Collaborating with Merchandising on assortments and key looks NIKE, Inc. is committed to employing a diverse workforce.
