How You’ll Make an Impact   

Lead and mentor a team of UX research professionals, setting clear goals that align with Spectrum’s business objectivesDefine and manage scalable research strategies that support product roadmaps and business prioritiesStandardize research practices to improve efficiency and quality across all initiativesOversee the design and execution of usability studies, interviews, surveys, and other research activities, ensuring outputs are actionable and relevantGuide the synthesis of research findings into meaningful insights and recommendations for design, product, and business teamsPartner with product management, technology, and business stakeholders to integrate research findings into planning and executionBuild and maintain processes, tools, and repositories that support repeatable and scalable research operations

What You’ll Bring to Spectrum   

Required Qualifications   

Education  

Bachelor’s degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Behavioral Science, Design, Research, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience

Experience   

3+ years of leadership experience5+ years of UX research, usability testing, or customer research experience5+ years of data analysis, customer research or business intelligence experience

Skills  

Experience in UX research, usability testing, customer research, or a related disciplinePeople leadership or team management experienceDemonstrated expertise in qualitative and quantitative research methodologies and usability testing practicesStrong ability to translate research findings into actionable business and experience recommendationsExcellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.Proven ability to lead through influence and collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams

The base pay for this position generally is between $96,300.00 and $205,100.00. The actual compensation offered will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. We comply with local wage minimums and also, certain positions are eligible for additional forms of other incentive-based compensation such as bonuses.
