Manager, US Tax Compliance

**What is the role?**
The Manager, US Tax Compliance at Liberty Latin America (LLA) will join a best-in-class tax department team handling the worldwide tax profile of our multinational company, which operates in an outstanding tax region of the world. The Associate Manager, Tax Compliance will report to the Director of Tax Accounting and Reporting.
**What you'll do**
+ Prepare and/or review supporting workpaper calculations for U.S. consolidated income tax returns, review deliverables, and coordinate return project management with external tax preparers.
+ Prepare and/or review supporting workpaper calculations for U.S. international informative income tax returns, review deliverables, and coordinate return project management with external tax preparers.
+ Assist in both quarterly and year-end tax reporting, including:
+ Prepare and/or review calculations and technical documentation of provision calculations for assigned U.S. entities.
+ Analyze all books to tax differences for assigned U.S. entities and reconcile the differences between provision and return.
+ Manage payable and receivable positions for assigned U.S. entities from a cash management perspective as well as for financial reporting.
+ Provide explanations and disclosures to the external audit team.
+ Support the Manager, Tax Accounting and Reporting, with jurisdictional modeling and tax strategy planning for Pillar Two (Global Minimum Tax). This calculation applies to more than 30 jurisdictions in Latin America and the Caribbean.
+ Lead the internal preparation and submission of tax return reporting obligations under Pillar Two.
+ Complete special projects as directed by the Director of Tax Accounting and Reporting.
**Preferred Education/Qualifications**
+ BSBA or equivalent 4-year college degree, with an accounting major, and potentially an emphasis in tax.
+ Licensed as a Certified Public Accountant.
+ 3-6 years public accounting (Big 4) and/or industry experience, specifically in U.S. corporate tax compliance.
**Knowledge, Skills & Experience**
+ Experience with OneSource Income Tax software is preferred but not required.
+ Experience with Pillar Two modeling and the conceptual framework is preferred but not required.
+ Demonstrated ability to work in a complex, demanding, and dynamic environment.
+ Strong written, oral, and analytical skills with an ability to interpret data and concisely articulate technical information.
+ Energetic with a strong work ethic, high personal standard of ethical conduct, and ability to securely handle confidential information.
**Internal**
+ Willingness to travel to relevant operational sites, including international.
+ Willingness and professional ability to engage and interact with accounting, financial reporting, legal and investor relations.
