Manager, Transformation

The Manager of Transformation will lead key initiatives and manage a team of motivated individuals with a broad range of consulting, project management, and/or HR backgrounds. In this role, you will: 1) execute high-value work that supports DaVita’s overall strategy through people-focused initiatives, 2) effectively lead specific workstreams with dependencies on multiple business units, 3) collaborate effectively throughout the organization, and 4) communicate status and recommendations to leadership.

Key Responsibilities

The following are typical activities for the Manager of Transformation on DaVita’s People Services team:

Strategy Execution: Partner with the Director of Transformation and senior leadership to execute the Transformation team’s strategy and support project portfolio delivery.

Opportunity Analysis: Leverage a hypothesis-based approach to identify and validate opportunities in the People space (e.g., retention, engagement, org design, training) and translate them into actionable project plans.

Project Leadership: Lead specific workstreams within enterprise-wide, cross-functional initiatives to improve teammate retention, experience, and effectiveness.

Process Improvement: Apply continuous improvement and project management tools (e.g., Lean Six Sigma) to structure, design, and implement process improvements.

Analytics & Reporting: Oversee and conduct the team’s analytics, including financial modeling and tracking ongoing project metrics to ensure success.

Communication: Prepare and present compelling findings and updates to leadership and cross-functional stakeholders.

Stakeholder Management: Effectively manage relationships with cross-functional partners and influence peers to drive project momentum.

Technology Enablement: Leverage technology to solve key People Services inefficiencies and help streamline existing processes for teammates.

Team Management: Manage project resources and priorities to ensure timelines and deliverables are met. Provide coaching, mentorship, and development to direct reports and project team members.

Qualifications

Experience: 5+ years of progressive experience in consulting, project management, or HR strategy.

Project Management: Proven experience managing business transformation projects or complex initiatives from concept through implementation with measurable impact.

Collaboration: Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally and build strong relationships with peers and stakeholders.

Change Management: Ability to support change initiatives and help drive the adoption of new processes and tools.

Education: Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or relevant Master’s degree preferred.
