As a Training Manager, you will lead the development, execution, and continuous improvement of training programs that drive performance and business outcomes. This role requires a strategic thinker with deep expertise in adult learning principles, instructional design, learning technologies, and team leadership.

Role Responsibilities

Design and implement scalable, high-impact training programs aligned with organizational objectives. Conduct training needs assessments and collaborate with stakeholders to identify skill gaps and learning priorities. Apply instructional design methodologies to develop engaging, learner-centered content across digital, blended, and instructor-led formats. Define and track learning metrics to evaluate program effectiveness and business impact, using data to drive continuous improvement. Leverage learning technologies—including LMS platforms, authoring tools, and emerging innovations—to enhance training delivery and learner engagement. Manage, coach, and develop a team of trainers, ensuring consistent quality, professional growth, and alignment with best practices in facilitation and content delivery. Provide governance, strategic alignment, and operational support to partner training teams. Foster a culture of companionship and collaboration, offering guidance, sharing best practices, and ensuring consistency in training standards and learner experience. Establish and maintain frameworks for training design, delivery, and evaluation to ensure alignment with training goals. Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders to ensure training initiatives are relevant and adopted. Champion a culture of continuous learning, innovation, and professional development across the organization.

Role Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience in the Learning and Development field 5+ years of management experience. 5–7+ years of progressive experience in training, instructional design, or learning and development, including at least 3 years in a leadership or managerial role. Proven ability to design, deliver, and evaluate training programs across multiple modalities (instructor-led, virtual, eLearning, blended). Demonstrated ability to lead, coach, and develop trainers. Demonstrated success in supporting and aligning with partner training teams, providing governance, strategic guidance, and collaborative companionship. Strong knowledge of adult learning principles, instructional design models (e.g., ADDIE, SAM), and learning evaluation frameworks (e.g., Kirkpatrick, Phillips ROI). Proficiency in Learning Management Systems (e.g., Workday Learning, Cornerstone) and eLearning authoring tools (e.g., Articulate Storyline, Rise, Adobe Captivate). Familiarity with learning analytics tools and data visualization platforms (e.g., Excel, Power BI, Tableau) to measure training effectiveness and business impact. Understanding of emerging learning technologies and trends (e.g., microlearning, mobile learning, AI, etc.). Excellent project management and change management skills, with the ability to lead multiple initiatives in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication, stakeholder engagement, and relationship-building skills across all organizational levels. Ability to foster a culture of continuous learning, innovation, and professional development.
