The Manager, Technical Application Support Scientists will lead an ambitious team responsible for delivering world-class remote pre and post-sales technical support for Thermo Fisher Scientific products. You will ensure flawless daily operations, foster an inclusive and collaborative environment, and strictly adhere to our high standards of service excellence.
A Day in the Life:
Guide and develop direct reports who supervise frontline employeesBuild relationships with the business units we supportEngage product management to foster coordinated business relationships for continuous improvementManage operations and project planning, including integrationsLead alignment efforts across global regionsKeys to Success:
EducationBachelor's degree in Life Sciences or Engineering required with 7+ years of experience (equivalent combinations of education and relevant work experience may be considered).Experience5+ years of people management experience preferred.Proven track record in directly serving customers.Prior experience in Technical Application Support and the Biotechnology industry preferred.Knowledge, Skills, AbilitiesDemonstrated leadership and people development skillsExcellent presentation skillsEffective communication skills, both oral and writtenAbility to prioritize effectivelyOutstanding problem-solving abilityComputer literacy, including spreadsheet, database, word processing, and Internet applicationsThis position does not offer relocation benefits.

Compensation and Benefits
The salary range estimated for this position based in New York is $93,800.00–$140,675.00.This position may also be eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on company, team, and/or individual performance results in accordance with company policy.
