Salary Mid-Point: $150,000 Location: South Hills of PA Job Type: Permanent IFG Pittsburgh is seeking a Manager of Technical Accounting and Financial Reporting to lead external reporting, financial and management accounting, and month-end close processes. This role is responsible for executing critical deliverables in compliance with U.S. GAAP, internal policies, and applicable regulatory standards.

Responsibilities of the Manager, Technical Accounting and Financial Reporting Collaborate cross-functionally to prepare and review financial statements, footnote disclosures, MD&A, and associated disclosure checklists Research, interpret, and apply relevant technical accounting standards and guidance Conduct financial statement analysis, including account reconciliation, preparation, and detailed review Ensure compliance with internal controls, proactively identifying risks and implementing appropriate control measures Manage and respond to internal and external audit requests, serving as the primary point of contact Identify and lead process and system improvement initiatives focused on automation, simplification, and long-term sustainability Build and maintain strong cross-functional relationships to support accurate financial reporting Ensure proper identification and accounting treatment of transactions Collaborate on change initiatives with financial reporting implications Analyze and resolve business unit inquiries, including detailed variance analysis
Qualifications of the Manager, Technical Accounting and Financial Reporting Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field CPA highly preferred 5+ years of accounting experience with particular emphasis on Strong technical knowledge of U.S. GAAP and SEC accounting and reporting requirements
