Join an innovative R&D organization advancing scientific instrumentation and pharmaceutical development. As Manager of System Verification within our Instrument R&D Department, you'll lead a team responsible for the verification and validation of Phadia instruments, instrument software, user software products, and consumables. You'll guide technical teams in developing and executing strategies for functional, performance, and usability verification and validation, enabling our customers to make the world healthier, cleaner, and safer.

In this role, you will:
• Provide strategic direction and approval for adherence to requirements for Phadia instruments, software, and consumables
• Mentor talent and lead staff in a matrix environment, collaborating with project managers
• Manage budget and resources, including system and testing labs
• Serve as the system owner for the SILK test management system
• Support CAPA (Corrective and Preventive Action) and complaint handling processes
• Provide 3rd line support for products within your responsibility
• Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations
• Participate in the Instrument R&D leadership team, contributing to broader organizational goals
Requirements:
• Master of Science or equivalent experience in a relevant field (e.g., Engineering, Chemistry, Physics etc.)
• Minimum of 6 years of experience preferred, ideally previous experience as a manager and leader within product development
• Demonstrated experience leading technical teams in regulated environments
• Experience in cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder management
• Well-developed written and verbal communication skills, with fluency in both Swedish and English required
• Deep technical expertise in relevant domains, including methods, technologies, instruments, software, and computer aids used within the department
• Experience from IDD (Immunodiagnostics Division) products and processes is highly meriting
• Proven ability to develop and mentor technical talent
• Experience with quality systems, regulatory compliance, and CAPA processes
• Strong business acumen and strategic planning capabilities
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a responsive environment
• Change management and continuous improvement experience
• Track record of driving innovation and technology advancement
• Willingness to travel as needed (percentage not specified)
