Procurement Data Analysis
• Collect, analyze, and interpret procurement and sourcing data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for cost optimization.
• Perform cost modeling and product cost analysis to support strategic sourcing decisions and design-to-cost initiatives.
• Develop dashboards and reports to track KPIs such as cost savings, supplier performance, lead times, and product cost variance.
• Maintain and improve procurement systems and tools for data accuracy and efficiency.
• Provide insights and recommendations to leadership based on data-driven analysis, including cost breakdown and value engineering opportunities.
• Support forecasting and budgeting processes through accurate procurement and product cost analytics.
• Ensure data governance and compliance with company policies and standards.
Sourcing & Supplier Management
• Develop and implement sourcing strategies to optimize cost, quality, and delivery performance while considering overall product cost impact.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to evaluate design alternatives and material choices that reduce product cost without compromising quality.
• Identify, qualify, and manage suppliers based on technical capability, capacity, compliance, and cost competitiveness.
• Negotiate pricing, terms, and long-term agreements to achieve cost savings and risk mitigation.
• Support new product introduction (NPI) projects by sourcing components and ensuring supplier readiness aligned with target product cost.
• Monitor supplier performance and lead continuous improvement initiatives for quality, reliability, and cost efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with sustainability, regulatory, and ethical sourcing requirements.
Qualifications
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business, or related field
• Experience: 3–5 years in sourcing, procurement, or supply chain analytics; experience in manufacturing or engineering environments preferred.
• Skills:
o Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
o Proficiency in procurement systems and data analytics tools (Excel, Power BI, SQL).
o Excellent negotiation and supplier management skills.
o Knowledge of cost modeling and product cost analysis.
o Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration abilities.
