Our marketing position is a unique career opportunity that could be your next step towards an exciting future. **How you will make an impact:** Responsible for developing, implementing and executing strategic marketing plans for an entire business unit in conjunction with guidance from global marketing partners and the Business Unit Leadership members. • Plan marketing projects and activities with accountability for successful completion within scope of project deliverables • Provide direction and guidance to smaller project teams to execute tactical marketing projects and/or initiatives • Identify and evaluate marketing process improvements and/or course correction/course alignment opportunities • Plan and direct assigned operational and project activities with the accountability for successful completion of assigned deliverables within marketing • Other incidental duties **What you’ll need (Required):** Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent in in related field, 8 years experience of previous related experience Required Experience working in a global manufacturing company and/or consulting firm Required Language proficiency: Native level in Japanese and Business level above in English Required Master's Degree or equivalent Preferred **What else we look for (Preferred):** • Experience working in a regulated industry preferred • Proven successful project management leadership skills • Proven expertise in Microsoft Office Suite and related tools and systems • Excellent problem-solving, organizational, analytical and critical thinking skills including high discretion/judgment in decision making • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and interpersonal relationship skills including negotiating and relationship management skills with ability to drive achievement of objectives • Extensive understanding of related aspects of marketing concepts and principles while defining team operating standards and ensuring essential procedures are followed based on knowledge of own discipline • Knowledge of financial mechanism that relates to marketing including forecasting, expense budgeting and management, purchase order compliance and processing, and 3rd party vendor compliance management. • Demonstrated skill set to manage assigned team and provide coaching and feedback, including responsibility for all employee actions including hire/fire authority and partnering with HR on all aspects of employee relations • Ability to develop and integrate metrics into the projects and operations that clearly demonstrate the value of marketing to the business • Strict attention to detail • Ability to interact professionally with all organizational levels • Ability to work and excel within a fast paced, dynamic, and constantly changing work environment • Primarily interacts with internal subordinates and other supervisors • Ability to develop peer, cross functional and cross business relationships to maximize best practice sharing and team effectiveness. • Adhere to all company rules and requirements (e.g., pandemic protocols, Environmental Health & Safety rules) and take adequate control measures in preventing injuries to themselves and others as well as to the protection of environment and prevention of pollution under their span of influence/control
