In this position... 

The Strategy Manager role provides an opportunity to influence the development and implementation of the Ford Credit strategy and new business initiatives.  The immediate focus will be working with the Ford Credit leadership team as we ideate, develop and execute our transformation on a global scale.  The strategy manager will be tasked with developing achievable strategic goals and help us build a sustainable competitive advantage. The Strategy Manager will have the opportunity to collaborate with teams and executive leaders across all of Ford Credit including engineering, product, risk and finance.

The Ford Credit Strategy Manager will need to have proven strategy experience, an analytical mind and outstanding presentation skills. The Strategy manager must have strong organizational and problem-solving skills.

 

What you'll do...

Collaborate with teams across Ford Credit to develop strategic points of view related to strategies and complex problems, along with capability assessments Leadership and oversight of various work-streams for strategy projects and programs with multiple stakeholdersDevelop business cases for new initiatives such as expanding into new business opportunities, partnerships, and M&A initiatives Oversee the development of detailed business plans, project/program execution plans and tracking against milestonesDevelop and share points of view on technologies, automotive finance and the fintech landscape based on external research and competitive benchmarkingProvide insights on external business environment and emerging trends Facilitate strategy team sprint sessions and collaboration workshopsDevelop executive level presentations and strategy papers 

You'll have...

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related quantitative field.5+ years of experience in a Strategy, Marketing, Executive Consulting and/or project management on a global scale Proven track record of successfully developing and executing complex strategic initiatives that have driven significant business growth and financial performanceExceptional quantitative and qualitative analytical skills, with the ability to structure complex problems, interpret large datasets, and derive actionable insightsExperience working with global and multidisciplinary teamsKnowledge on Strategy and Business Planning foundational elements Analytical and problem-solving approach; Highly organized and detail orientedCreative and compelling storyteller; Excellent written and verbal communication skillsComfortable coordinating multiple teams, as well as, executive leaders Strong project management skills; comfortable as both team lead and team member

An MBA or other relevant graduate degree is strongly preferredProactive, self-motivated & adept at working with global and multidisciplinary teamsFamiliarity and fluency with strategic and innovation frameworks and conceptual constructsExcels on PowerPoint / Excel, building presentations for executive leadership reviews
