Manager, Strategic Market Sales, Spectrum Business

Are you motivated to elevate Spectrum Business' national presence while steering high-impact sales initiatives? As Manager, Strategic Market Sales, you’ll lead a dedicated National Accounts Sales Team, forge connections across critical internal departments and build relationships with Spectrum business customers nationwide. Your direction will drive revenue growth, optimize sales processes and empower your team to exceed targets—directly influencing Spectrum’s trajectory.


How You’ll Make an Impact   

Lead, supervise and motivate National Account Managers and Executives to foster productivity and surpass monthly sales targetsCoordinate recruiting, training and ongoing development to build a cohesive sales unitOversee daily administration ensuring completion of reports, project plans and business cases using Spectrum’s CRM toolsConduct weekly sales staff meetings and individual reviews to monitor performance and drive account maintenance and acquisitionAttend sales calls with representatives to support client engagement and opportunity developmentProvide weekly sales forecasts, summaries and funnel reports to inform business strategyAssign high-priority customers and pursue long-term business opportunities while complying with Spectrum policies and proceduresCoach team members to develop skills required for achieving excellence

What You’ll Bring to Spectrum   

Required Qualifications   

Education   

Bachelor’s Degree from a four-year college or university or equivalent training, education and experience

Experience   

5+ years managing multi-national or global sales organizations for a national telecom service provider

Skills   

Proficiency in English communicationNetwork of C-level contacts to position Spectrum business services nationallyProven ability to create, build and execute national sales budgetsDemonstrated leadership in building and directing sales organizationsExpertise in Social Selling and prospectingProficient in database management including CRM tools such as Siebel or SalesforceComprehensive understanding of Voice technologies (PRI, VOIP, SIP), Data solutions (TDM, DS3, OCn, Ethernet), equipment vendors and managed services including MPLS and SaaSAbility to travel up to 50 percent of the timeValid State driver’s license and safe driving record
