Position Overview:
The Manager, Strategic Finance & Corporate FP&A plays a critical role in supporting Insulet’s corporate financial planning processes as well as high‑impact Strategic Finance initiatives. This position is responsible for driving forecasting cycles, supporting long‑range and strategic planning, enhancing reporting processes, and contributing to strategic analyses that inform executive decision‑making.
The ideal candidate combines strong financial modeling skills, analytical rigor, systems fluency, and the ability to work cross‑functionally in a fast‑paced environment. This role reports to the Director, Strategic Finance & BD&L.
Responsibilities
Strategic Finance
Support 5‑year strategic planning, intrinsic value modeling, and strategic analyses across markets, products, and business units.
Build and maintain financial models, ROI analyses, and other strategic financial models supporting corporate strategy and BD&L evaluations.
Conduct financial and market research to support strategic decision‑making and cross‑functional planning efforts.
Perform financial due diligence modeling support for strategic or commercial initiatives as needed.
Support blank-slate special projects and other adhoc Strategic Finance tasks as assigned.
Corporate FP&A
Support weekly and bi‑weekly Latest Estimate processes, ensuring forecast accuracy, updated commentary, and consistency across functions.
Contribute to total company forecast consolidation, budget development, and long‑range planning deliverables in partnership with Corporate FP&A leadership.
Create and maintain operating expense forecast templates for Finance teams supporting R&D, and Sales & Marketing, as well as related headcount reporting templates.
Perform other adhoc Corporate FP&A tasks as assigned.
Education and Experience:
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
5+ years of experience in FP&A, Corporate Finance, Strategic Finance, or a related analytical role.
Experience supporting forecasting cycles, budgeting, long‑range planning, and valuation/performance analyses (DCF, NPV, IRR, ROI, DPP etc.).
Strong financial modeling capabilities and advanced Excel skills.
Strong communication skills with the ability to simplify complex financial information for leadership audiences.
Proven ability to manage multiple priorities with accuracy and attention to detail.
Familiarity with tools such as Capital IQ and ThinkCell as well as financial planning systems (e.g., SAP Analytics Cloud).
Preferred Qualifications
MBA and/or CPA strongly preferred.
Experience in high‑growth, publicly‑traded environments (medical device, healthcare, or technology preferred).
Demonstrated ability to drive process improvements and identify efficiencies.
High integrity, strong work ethic, and collaborative mindset.
Physical Requirements:
General office environment, may sit for long periods of time.
Travel may be required up to 5% of the time.

Compensation & Benefits:

For U.S.-based positions only, the annual base salary range for this role is $111,600.00 - $167,400.00

This position may also be eligible for incentive compensation.
