Program Manager - Rare Disease
The Program Manager (Rare Disease) will lead the organization and execution of both internal and external program deliverables including various project initiatives. Leadership of key client projects will be in partnership with a Senior Program Manager or Director.
Accountabilities
Manage program deliverables on time and within scopeIn partnership with Senior Program Manager or Director, manage communication with clientsEnsure program objectives are metProvide a consistent, effective operating structure for program teamsLeadership of stakeholders to ensure understanding and ownership of deliverablesOrganize internal and external resourcesIdentify risks and communicate appropriately with senior management to develop risk mitigation planEnsure business decisions are made in consultation with appropriate representation from all impacted functional areasFacilitate meetings to keep team members engaged, motivated, and on taskProvide a collaborative environment for issues to be discussed and resolved effectively and appropriately, and with buy-in from all stakeholdersManage the effective utilization of resources assigned to the program team, and proactively communicate resource capacity and shortagesReport all Adverse Events (AE) and Product Technical Complaints (PTC) immediately or as soon as possible upon becoming aware of the event as per current policies and procedures.
Job Qualifications
3-5 years’ account management and/or patient support program management or management experience and/or previous pharmaceutical brand management experience or equivalentDemonstrated leadershipOutstanding organizational and time management skillsExcellence in assessment, communication, critical thinking and decision makingAbility to effectively communicate across multiple levels of the organizationComputer skills, including MS Project and VisioClient-facing experienceUniversity degree or equivalent industry-related experienceWhy work at Shoppers Drug Mart?
