Analyze software cost models and present recommendations to stakeholdersLead negotiations and manage large-scale software agreements alongside senior team membersStrategize with business and technical owners to clarify organizational needsGuide cross functional teams to develop requirements for supplier responsesResearch and identify reliable sources of supply for Spectrum’s software needsLeverage supply market knowledge to drive supplier selection through formal processes like RFP, RFQ and RFIEvaluate the financial stability of suppliers and perform business analysis focused on total cost of ownershipRecommend strategic purchasing decisions to executive managementPursue cost savings opportunities and oversee supplier performance as an escalation point when necessaryDevelop and communicate strategic category plans to align with business objectivesManage change adoption and influence operational and technical improvements in procurement

What You’ll Bring to Spectrum   

Required Qualifications   

Education  

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience

Experience   

3+ years procurement contract negotiation and contract management experience1+ year electronic procurement or contract solutions experience

Skills   

Knowledge of software and related services including perpetual, term and subscription agreements, maintenance and support and other IT productsStrong understanding of software contract terms and conditionsFamiliarity with software and IT terminologyProven negotiating skills with adaptabilityAbility to prioritize projects in a fast-paced environmentEffective communication and writing skillsLeadership skills to supervise and motivate othersDecision-making and problem-solving under pressureInitiative and sound judgment to accomplish job dutiesInternal stakeholder management skills with the capacity to build trust and deliver solutionsKnowledge of the P2P process and ability to identify solutions for spend categories

The base pay for this position generally is between $98,900.00 and $175,300.00. The actual compensation offered will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. We comply with local wage minimums and also, certain positions are eligible for additional forms of other incentive-based compensation such as bonuses.
