Job Duties: Responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting Java-based applications, with a focus on multithreaded processing, application performance tuning, and integrated backend services. Manage and support messaging workflows within the trading application, leveraging technologies such as Apache Kafka, IBM MQ, and RabbitMQ to ensure reliable publishing and consumption of events across distributed systems. Will design, configure, and support FIX service modules to establish secure communication with market makers, as well as configure and manage trade routing logic to enable accurate order flow to external exchanges. Utilize Linux shell scripting for automation, performing log analysis, and conducting system-level diagnosis to resolve application and OS-level issues. Monitor and support CI/CD automation using Jenkins and manage infrastructure orchestration with Ansible. Creating, approving, and
troubleshooting pull requests in version control systems like Bitbucket and GitHub Actions. Write and optimize complex SQL queries for large databases and support data consistency in NoSQL databases to facilitate trading workflows. Providing end-to-end support for the trading application, conduct deep-dive root cause analysis of system and trading issues, ensuring continuous uptime and optimal performance under high-volume conditions.

What you have

Job Requirements: Master’s degree in Computer Engineering, Information Technology Administration, or a related field, plus 24 months of  experience in a related occupation. . Requires 24 months of experience involving the following: Java application support, including diagnosing and resolving performance bottlenecks, multithreading issues, and integrated challenges; Apache Kafka, RabbitMQ, and IBM MQ for consumer and publisher setups and troubleshooting disruptions in the end-to-end flow to support reliable delivery and resilience across distributed components; Configuring and maintaining FIX session parameters for FIX4.1 and FIX4.2 protocols, enabling secure and stable connectivity with the ngOMS application with market makers; Jenkins pipelines for CI/CD automation; Ansible for configuration management and deployment of application components; Writing SQL queries to extract, manipulate, and analyze the data from large relational databases in support of trading workflows, reporting and system diagnostics; and MongoDB for managing semi-structured data using dynamic documents and collections. .

 

We offer competitive pay and benefits. Starting compensation depends on related experience. Annual bonus and other eligible earnings are not included in the ranges above.
